LOUD: What's Your Favorite Restaurant and Why?

We are pleased to launch the first edition of LOUD, our collective expression of entrepreneurship from our "Model Entrepreneurs."  Here is what our entrepreneurs had to say about there favorite restaurants...

Aron Schoenfeld of doitinperson.com and vlassified.com: Abigaels on Broadway in Manhattan. There are two things that are important to me at a restaurant; service and consistency. At Abigaels, the service is always excellent and friendly and I have never had an issue, no matter what I have requested. For me to have a favorite restaurant, it means I have and will continue to go return. Everything I order is always made to perfection. There is almost no variation between a medium steak - it is always cooked the same. All of the food is consistently good and I know that when I take a client there, I will never have a bad experience.

Casey Walsh of Stand Up Guys Junk Removal: Two Urban Licks, here in Atlanta. They have a 5 star quality restaurant in a warehouse where no one can see it. They have built there reputation on just "being cool". They don't have a big sign out front, they don't do a ton of marketing, but the wait is hours long night after night.

Jennifer Bowers of Olivia's Child: TGIFridays provides great customer service. Its always a pleasure to walk into one, no matter what city you are in. They have a varitey of food that causes fireworks in your mouth :) They're presentation is always excellent as far as the menu and advertisements. And lets not forget prices; very affordable for the whole family.

Ben Leis of Sweat EquiTees: One of my favorite restaurants is Sushi Thai of Boca in Boca Raton, FL.  This little known restaurant in a strip mall is a family owned eatery with just 10 tables, two servers, one cook and one sushi chef.  Even without a website the restaurant is always busy with locals.  The sushi is always fresh, thai food always on point but what you will notice instantly upon entering are the numerous whiteboards covering every square inch of space along the walls.  On these whiteboards are the custom made sushi rolls created by the customers.  It's a clever way to give your customers ownership of your restaurant, a great word-of-mouth marketing strategy with a virtually zero price tag.
